What to Bring

Travel Documents

You will need a passport to enter Canada. For more border crossing details visit www.bordercrossing.ca. It is your responsibility to make sure you will not be refused entry into Canada.

Firearms Declaration Form:

You will need to declare your firearms when coming through customs. Rules regarding this can be found at the government website. It is your responsibility to ensure you have filled out the proper paperwork and are able to transport your firearms into the country.  Handguns are not allowed in Canada.

BC Hunting License & Specific Tags

Please confirm that you have your license or have forwarded the proper documentation for us to obtain your license for you ahead of time.  Refer to the BC Hunting Regulations for information.  

Other recommendations

Hunters with special needs or disabilities please let us know about it before you get into camp so we can make the necessary arrangements. (e.g. special diet, mobility restrictions, etc.)

Personal items for your hunt

The proper equipment and clothing is essential in order for you to fully enjoy your hunt.
  • The gun of your choice is suitable for us but we recommend a 270 caliber or bigger along with two boxes of shells
  • Archery hunters should shoot about (50-75 pound bow) along with 2 dozen arrows and at least 1 inch broad heads.
  • Binoculars
  • Medium weight sleeping bag with pillow.
  • Your choice of clothing (nice warm jacket, warm socks, and warm sweaters, along with some lighter wear).
  • Good raincoat and pants
  • a good knife --flashlight--lighter or matches---water bottle---alarm clock
  • Daypack
  • Personal toiletries and medication
  • Dry bags (bring capes home)
