Dreaming of a goat

I had an excellent time hunting with you and your guides. Have dreamed of taking a mountain goat for years and you made it happen. Been hunting with you twice and look forward to hunting with you again. Loved the food and great lodge. The diversity of game we saw neat, never new what we were going to see next. Maybe next time we do moose, they don’t live so high on the mountain.

Full of elk, goat, deer, moose and bear...

I have been hunting with Pilgrim Outfitters for the past three years.  I have experienced very knowledgeable and eager guides.  The area is full of elk, goat, deer, moose and bear both black and grizzly. The first year we hunted for elk, moose, deer and bear in rifle season.  We had a lot of opportunities to harvest an animal but unfortunately we were unsuccessful.  None the less, we had a great time.

The second year we hunted elk in bow season we had numerous sightings as well as close encounters with large bulls but at first could not get off a shot.  With a lot of hiking, scouting and patience we finally were able to bring down a large 6x5 bull.  Talk about adrenaline, that’s what it’s all about.

The camp is very well equipped with hot showers, comfortable bunk houses and a very well equipped cook house with solar powered lights, TV and DVD movies.  The location and scenery are beyond compare.

Oh don’t forget to pick up a fishing licence, Wildhorse River is right at the base of camp and is very productive for Bull trout, Cutthroat trout, and lower down Kokanee Salmon.

I would recommend this outfit to anyone wishing to be totally away from civilization, be immersed in some of Canada’s greatest scenery and have great guides to get you on your desired animal.

"Beyond my expectations... game rich."

Pilgrams Outfitting is where I hunted for my shiras moose and guided goats.  Jim is one of the hardest working and knowledgable guides I have ever hunted with.  No matter what happened along the trip he always stayed positive and alert.
It took us about 6 stalks to finally harvest my archery moose but after a 45 minute calling battle with the bull I finally sealed the deal.  The cabins and meals were beyond my expectations and the hunting area is game rich.  So if your thinking about hunting with pilgrams you can gladly call me at any time and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

"Warm camp and plenty of animals..."

I had the pleasure of hunting with Pilgrim's Outfitting for two years.  Both years featured good food, warm camp and plenty of animals.  Jim's area is full of elk, deer, goats and sheep.  By hunting any one of these animals, a hunter will see all of them, along with a black bear and a griz or two.  Be ready to hit what you aim at and you will take home a trophy.
